The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Saloon
- Lowest aerodynamic drag of any production vehicle
- Class leading rear headroom
- Best active safety systems within its segment
- MBUX multimedia system as standard

The saloon re-imagined.
The A-Class Saloon has carried over many of the styling features of its hatchback sibling, including the streamline LED headlights and low profile roof line. The particularly streamlined front section of the saloon variant (standing at just 2.19m2) achieves a Cd drag coefficient of just 0.22, which is the lowest aerodynamic drag of any other production vehicle. A record previously set by the CLA coupe. Despite its compact classing, the A-Class Saloon boasts class-leading headroom in the rear. It also offers a boot capacity of 420 litres with an opening width that has been designed specifically for increased practicality. Its wheelbase is 130mm longer than its predecessor standing at 2729mm in total. And in line with the the latest generation of Mercedes-Benz models, its front and rear overhangs are only very slight.Safety without compromise.
Because the comprehensive safety packages available in the A-Class Saloon are on par with the S-Class, this newest model also achieves the highest level of active safety in its segment. Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Brake Assist come as standard - both acting to minimise the risk of collision or preventing it altogether.
